VGA + Power Over UTP Splitter/Sender
Distribute VGA and power up to 500 ft to 24 different locations over a single UTP cable.
The UV24-S is a 24-channel video splitter that can send a VGA or component video signal to multiple displays on UTP cable.
This unit features a standard HD15 VGA connector for the input and 24 RJ45 connectors for the outputs. It also provide an additional HD15 VGA connector for a local monitor.
The UV24-S can drive UTP cables of lengths up to 500 feet. A UV1-R receiver is required at the receiving end to convert the UTP signal back to video.
The UV24-S Sender/Splitter comes with a power supply that is capable of powering itself and all the UV1-R receivers.
In most setups only one power supply is necessary for the entire system.
For Cat5 runs of over 300 feet, the receivers may need their own additional supplies that must be ordered separately (HRT model # 511-GS569).
