UNITY Control Module

With an 18cm capacitive colour touchscreen, the UNITY Control Module (UCM) has a simple user interface, similar in operation to most smart phones for system configuration. The UCM will also display the current system status and report any fault conditions. The UCM is designed to configure and control UNITY dimmers, switch modules or LED dimmers housed within a UNITY Installation Rack and to act as a control and reporting proxy to the outside world.

• Real-time display of RMS voltage and currents on all 3-phases + Neutral in UNITY Modular Enclosure
• Configurable warning alarms for over-current, over- or under-voltage, temperature alarms, tripped breakers, phase loss and control signal loss
• Configuration and control of all UDM, USM and ULM modules in the cabinet
• RDM (Remote Device Management) ability to remotely monitor and control rack cabinet as a whole. The UCM acts as an RDM proxy and reports all modules as a single unit.
• A push-button switch located above each breaker on the modules can be pushed to immediately bring the configuration for that channel onto the UCM’s display
• All relevant information can be reported to a central controller either via RDM or via LSC’s HOUSTON II reporting system
• UDM, USM and ULM modules are detected and automatically reconfigured
• Ability to select control inputs from Art-Net, sACN or dual DMX512-A
• Softpatch of incoming control signals to all dimmer and switch channels
• Ability to save configuration off-site
• Automatic reconfiguration of replaced modules
• Software update function via USB to all internal modules ensuring that all modules are running the same software
• Integrates with UNITY UDM, USM and ULMs for seamless control of all parameters

UNITY FEATURES

• Modules have a pushbutton located above each of the breakers that can be pushed to immediately bring up the configuration for that channel on the UCM display.
• Channels can also be set to switch ON automatically as soon as a valid DMX signal is applied and OFF when the DMX signal is no longer present
• All modules - UDM, USM & ULM offer RCBO protection per channel
• Optional Neutral Disconnect MCBs are available upon request.
• All modules can be ‘hot-swapped’ and plug in with self-centering connectors
• Quick release front panel ¼ turn Camlocks to secure module in place and enable power
• Inputs can be single or dual DMX, ArtNet or sACN
• Cabinet option of 48 channels or 96 channels
• Central monitoring and control can be provided remotely over RDM or Ethernet
