Worn alone or under a wetsuit, the R1® Impact Suit features 1.5mm neoprene, a high-stretch 100% recycled polyester lining and flexible foam panels for increased flotation and body protection in heavy and hazardous surf. Made for all temperatures.

With flexible foam panels for supplemental flotation and impact protection, the formfitting R1 Padded Big Wave Vest is made with 1mm and 1.5mm neoprene laminated to high-stretch 88% recyled polyester/12% spandex jersey. Suggested water temperatures: 65-75°/18-23° C. Giant Tahiti or grinding outer reefs, the R1 Padded Big Wave Vest offers critical protection in heavy and hazardous surf. Built from durable 1mm and 1.5mm neoprene laminated to high-stretch 88% recycled polyester/12% spandex jersey, the formfitting design includes 11 ergonomically patterned 22mm EVA foam panels for uppder-body padding and supplemental flotation in high-impact situations. 

Foam edges around the armholes are skived at 45 degrees for maximum range of motion; flatlock and zigzag sewing construction offers excellent strength and durability; spandex bindings along the neck, armholes and bottom hem provided a secure and comfortable fit. Nylon reinforcements at the centre-front, back and side provide board-short tie-in compatability.
