Description
The style of Moet & Chandon champagne, its colour and the bubbles bursting on the foof of your mouth are infamous. Moet & Chandon's reputation for turning an event into an occasion is legendary. Even if it's just because you fancy it, Moet & Chandon, vintage or non-vintage champagne, will ensure you do so with style.
Get it flowing. Wipe the top of the bottle and pour the Moet & Chandon carefully into sparkling clean, clear glass flutes until no more than two-thirds full and return the bottle to the ice-bucket. Coupes or 'saucers' should never be used as they allow the fine bubbles to escape too quickly. A standard bottle should fill up to six flutes yet a magnum not only fills 12 flutes, but is also the optimum size to allow the champagne to mature slowly, thus providing a touch more finesse. However, if you are serving a nebuchadnezzar (120 flutes and name- size) chances are you'll need some help in pouring!
