Description
New to the Cape to Cape range, this is a great example of the strength of this variety in the Great
Southern. With selected parcels of Cabernet from a number of the vineyards to make this fruit-driven and
well-structured dry red. Enjoy now with its slightly chewy dry finish or after a little more bottle age.
COLOUR: A dark crimsony red with good depth.
AROMA: Lovely aromas of dark plums and red berry fruits, complexed by a hint of smokiness.
PALATE: The delicious fresh berry fruit flavours are balanced by the drying tannins, a hallmark of this
variety. There's an attractive smoky plum fruit character and the long dry finish gives good length of
flavour. This would be a great wine to service with a cheese platter or any main meal.
CELLARING: Enjoy now or even more so after a couple of years in the cellar.
