Leaf Series Sauvignon Blanc
\nThe grapes were harvested in the early hours of the morning for immediate processing to maintain the freshness and aromatics of the fruit. Made in traditional Bordeaux style, fermentation was carried out in new French oak barriques to give the wine a depth of flavour, texture and complexity. After 3 months of maturation on yeast lees the wine was stabilized, fined and filtered for bottling.
\nTasting Notes - this new addition to the Leaf Series range is a complex wine with bright lemon brulee and guava aromatics leading to textural palate, finishing with a delicate mineral acidity.
\nFood Matching - can be enjoyed with or without food. However try this classy West Australian Sauvignon Blanc with Fish pie with asparagus and spring vegetables.
